Musings

I started my day with this wonderful song. The music itself expresses peace and tranquility and the refrain says that God's love came down from heaven to save and free me. The first verse says: 'If my heart is overwhelmed and I cannot hear your voice, I hold on to what is true though I cannot see.' In all honesty, I don't know where I'd have been this evening if God wasn't in my life. Maybe you think I'm into spiritual things way too much, but I can't explain enough the importance of spiritual life. God's standard is found in the Ten Commandments in the book of Exodus 20:1-17 in the Old Testament. Who can say they have never broken one of those laws? NOT ONE OF US!! The Bible says that we have all sinned (Romans 3:23) and therefore God cannot accept us to be with Him in heaven as we are. He is holy and we are all sinners (except for Jesus). Библијата вели дека сите сме згрешиле (Римјаните 3:23) и затоа Бог не може да нѐ прими кај Него во рајот како што сме. Тој е свет, а ние сме грешници без исклучок (освен Исус). Translation of the previous post: Плачам внатре I must confess that something is burning inside of me today.  I was thinking like Jeremiah of old:   Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, n or speak anymore in His name.”  But   His word   was in my heart like a burning fire s hut up in my bones;  I was weary of holding   it   back,  and I could not . (Jeremiah 20:9). God's Word is burning in me because it is the truth. The truth can only light our path. David writes in Psalm 119:105:  Your word   is   a lamp to my feet a nd a light to my path. I ask myself if I love God's Word as God's authority on earth or are the thoughts of man more important? The question entered my mind yesterday after a conversation with a very dear lady. We talked about our faith, but the woman was more enthusiastic about the saints and icons in her hair salon than about Jesus Himself. In all honesty, I was weeping inside. Which saint died for me? Which icon suffered for my sins? I weep as

Морам да признаам денес дека нешто гори во мене. Како Еремија, мислев вака:  И реков во себеси: 'Веќе не ќе мислам на Него, ниту ќе зборувам во Неговото име.' Зборувавме за нашата вера, но жената беше повеќе воодушевена од свеците и иконите во нејзиниот фризерски салон од Самиот Исус. Искрено плачев внатре. Кој светец умре за мене? Кој икон страдаше за моите гревови? Еве плачам дури пишувам. Кога ќе сфатиме дека нашиот Спасител, возљубениот Божји Син

Ти кој живееш под покрив на Сѐвишниот,  што се одморуваш во сенката на Сѐдржителот,  речи му на Господа: "Прибежиште мое!
